“Please be mindful of the advertisement. It was advertised with; Wifi on board? Restroom on board? Bottled water? We got none of these. The only good thing was the tour guide. He was good. Was very disappointed as we believed that it was a campervan and had paid accordingly for it.”
A full-day trip from Vienna to Hallstatt with a guided orientation, guided salt and history stop, plus free time for lakeside photos.
“Overall, we were somewhat satisfied with the experience, but there are important points future travelers should know. This tour used to include Salzburg together with Hallstatt, but it was later changed to Hallstatt only. Unfortunately, Hallstatt was extremely crowded. We had to wait in very long lines almost everywhere, and during the winter season we ended up spending around 2.5 hours outdoors in the cold. Given these conditions, including Salzburg on the same day would have been a much more sensible and balanced itinerary.”

“I would give Anna 5 stars - she is knowledgeable and a historian, and was great at providing context to historical facts. (I love history and learning about less known facts). She was very personable and as a bonus, a great photographer! I am giving the experience 4 stars because the description said it included a stop for coffee at the Gloriette and lunch. The coffee stop did not happen (admittedly I didn’t ask the guide, which I should have but I was a bit shy about it). For the lunch (and the end), she took us to the restaurant and made sure we were settled but then left. We…”

“Great tour. Driver Miro was awesome. Picked us up on time and patiently waited for us until the end. The tour guide in Budapest Zsuzsi was the best . She went above and beyond. Although we had only three hours, we did not feel rushed and she knew all the spots for great photos. She even helped us take photos ( she is a photographer) . The tour guide in Bratislava was awesome as well. They all speak excellent English and knew the history of each place well. Price is a bit heavy but I hope Driver and your guides are adequately compensated.”
