“The staff at the palace were very helpful & friendly. The first part of the evening was a self guided tour around the palace with an audio guide but the staff were there on hand throughout. Dinner was served at Gerstner’s inside the palace grounds - again the staff were friendly & helpful. We had a traditional Austrian meal - beef broth & dumpling, braised beef in a very delicious gravy & strudel. All excellent! Finally the highlight of the tour was the concert which started at 8:30. We went back into the palace & as we had a glass of sparkling wine included we collected this at the queueing…”

My husband and I are vegetarians and were accommodated very nicely. We were definitely stuffed by the end of the night! So much emphasis was put on getting back to the bus quickly 8 year old was panicked into wanting to leave before Silent Night was sung. I suggest leaving it to the locals.”
